 How much does the shipping cost?

Delivery costs are automatically quoted once you have filled your basket. Polar Gear products are despatched and delivered by Amazon. To offer you not only this trusted delivery service, we also calculate postage costs by weight and volume of the package to then be able to offer you the best rate.  

 How long does it take to arrive? 

We offer two type of delivery. Standard delivery: Order by 3pm for delivery in 3 working days (Mon - Fri). Expedited delivery: Order by 6pm for delivery the next working day (Mon - Fri). 

 Do you ship products outside of the UK?

No, sorry, currently we only offer shipping within the UK.

 Do you offer Free Delivery?

Yes! You can enjoy free shipping on our extensive range of products with orders over £20.

Hydra Series Stainless Steel Insulated Bottles

 Can I use my insulated bottle for fizzy drinks?

We do not suggest pouring fizzy drinks into our insulated bottles. Contain fizzy drinks may also be a risk of injury as the bottle lid is loosened and pressure is released.

 How long will my drink stay hot/cold?

We’re so glad you asked! Thanks to the smart vacuum design, our insulated bottles can keep your drinks fresh & hot for up to 12 hours or crisp & cold for up to 24 hours. 

 Will they fit in my bicycle bottle cage?

Yes they are good for a ride! Our Hydra series of bottles will fit most bike holders but we advise you check the dimensions of your bike bottle holder first. 

• Our Hydra Flow 500ml bottle is the perfect hydration companion for a bike ride, 7cm in width and rust-resistant, it will keep your drink fresh and cold for up to 24 hours.
• Other sizes include our Hydra Surge 1litre bottle which is 9.6cm in width and Hydra Flow Kit 700ml bottle which is 8cm in width and 24cm height

 How do I keep my insulated bottle clean? Can I use a dishwasher?

Our stainless-steel insulated bottles are not dishwasher safe. We suggest handwashing your insulated bottle every time after use, it can prevent any buildup of smell which may taint the taste.  We also recommend washing your bottle regularly with a mixture of hot water and bicarbonate of soda, this should remove any buildup or smell. Do not use bleach or cleansers containing chlorine. Also, please ensure the bottle and lid are completely dry before storage. 

 What are the two cap options included with Hydra Flow 700ml and Hydra Surge 1L?

Sip on the go or pour and share! With two interchangeable cap options, our insulated bottles are a versatile hydration solution. Our free-flow cap allows you to pour your favourite beverage into a cup and maybe share with others. Ideal for sports and activities, the chug cap allows you to drink straight from the bottle with no leakage.

 Are all Polar Gear plastic bottles are BPA-free?

Yes! All our plastic water bottles are BPA-free and made with 100% safe food-grade reusable plastic.

 What does ‘Tritan’ mean?

Tritan is a durable, lightweight, BPA-free plastic created by the Eastman Company which are passed by U.S. Food and Drug Administration, European Food Safety Authority and European Commission, this is the ideal material for our reusable products! Bottles that are made from Tritan are extremely durable and shatter proof. Tritan offers a strong level of clarity like glass but is light weight and shatter proof.

 Are Polar Gear Tracker Bottle/Style Bottle/Aqua Grip Bottle dishwasher safe?

Not all of our bottles can be cleaned in a dishwasher so we recommend referring to what the packaging advises. If this is not an option then here you go...

Tracker and Aqua Grip bottles - are dishwasher safe but we recommend handwashing as it means that the printed design on the side of the bottle will last longer. If you do decide to wash in the dishwasher then remove the lid from the bottle and the straw from the lid first, and only use the top shelf of the dishwasher. 

Aqua Style bottles - are not dishwasher safe so should only be hand washed.

 Can I use this bottle for hot drinks? 

Our reusable plastic bottles are not designed for use with hot beverages or carbonated drinks.

However, you can safely enjoy your favourite hot drink from one of our Polar Gear insulated stainless-steel bottles, travel mugs or flasks.

Cool Bag

 Can I keep food and drinks warm in a Polar Gear cool bag?

Our cool bags are designed specifically to keep food and drinks cold and fresh. Our bags have a layer of insulation between the outer fabrics and inner food-safe lining, So, it still can keep food warm at some times.

 How can I keep food and drinks cool for longer?

Here’s a top tip! For optimum performance, place Polar Gear ice packs on top of the contents of your cool bag. The cold air will flow downwards, keeping your food and drinks cooler for longer.

 How do keep my cool bag clean? Can I use a washing machine?

Please do not use a washing machine to clean your Polar Gear cool bag unless it states on the packaging or inner label that it is one of our Polar Gear Machine Washable bags. Alternatively, our cool bags feature easy-wipe surfaces, we recommend using a damp cloth to wipe clean regularly.

For a washable lunch bag, you can refer to our washable lunch bag range. Our washable cool bags are designed for cleaning by the washing machine.

 What material are Polar Gear cool bags made of?

Our cool bags are made from various materials; the material composition can be identified on the sewn-in label. 

For example. Our premium cool bag is made with durable polyester, which is easy to wipe clean and conveniently lightweight. The lining of our cool bags is made with PEVA, a food-safe, PVC-free material.

 Do all cool bags feature a shoulder strap?

Our premium family large cool bag , medium cool bag and personal small cool bag all feature a handy shoulder strap for easy transport.

But Polar Gear cool bags come in various sizes and formats to suit your needs, some have shoulder straps and some don’t. Please read the product detail to see if the cool bag has a shoulder strap.

 How do I clean my Polar Gear Food Flask? Can I use a dishwasher?

Please do not use a dishwasher to clean your Polar Gear food flask. We recommend hand washing after use with mild detergent. For a deep clean, we recommend using a mix of water and bicarbonate of soda and rinsing thoroughly. Do not use bleach or cleansers containing chlorine.

 Will this flask keep my food hot/cold?

Yes! Our insulated food flask is designed to keep your meals hot or cold, perfect for on-the-go activities!

 How can I keep my food hotter for longer?

It’s super simple! All you need to do is pre-heat the flask by adding hot water 5 minutes before use and this will optimize the insulated performance. It will optimize the insulated performance.

 How can I keep my food cool?

 Our insulated food flask makes it easier than ever to keep food cooler for longer! Simply add ice-cold water to pre-cool your flask 5 minutes before use and this will optimize the insulated performance. It will optimize the insulated performance.

 Can I put food flask in the microwave?

Please do not place your insulated food flask in a microwave. As our flask is made with stainless steel, it is not microwave-safe.

We have Reheat Me Food Pod which is made with plastic, you can put it into the microwave to reheat.

Tumbler

 How can I clean my tumbler? Can I use a dishwasher?

Please do not use a dishwasher to clean your Polar Gear tumbler.

We recommend hand washing with hot soapy water. For a deep clean, we suggest using a mix of water and bicarbonate of soda and rinsing thoroughly. Do not use bleach or cleansers containing chlorine.

 Can I put my tumbler in the microwave?

As our tumbler is made with durable stainless steel, it is not microwave-safe. Please do not place your Polar Gear stainless steel tumbler into a microwave. If your tumbler is not made from stainless steel or if you are uncertain then please check the packaging for more guidance.
